Project History Quantum Theology and the Future Mind was a student course that I co-taught at Stanford University in 2003.
Following the course ended, I created this website. Quantum Theology and the Future Mind began as an idea, or rather, a collection of ideas. From this emerged a vision of connectedness, an understanding of the universe that weaves together the many dimensions of existence. The course featured guest lectures by world-renowned experts in fields ranging from nanotechnology to lucid dreaming. A loyal group gathered every Tuesday evening at the Enchanted Broccoli Forest to explore and discuss these topics. Topics of interest included: accelerating technological change, nanotechnology, quantum computing, transhumanism, the singularity, neurotechnology, artificial intelligence, robotics, holographic and quantum consciousness, spirituality, sustainability, multimedia technology and art, and many more related and unrelated ideas.
Course Archive The following is an archived syllabus for the course, including flyers, graphics, notes, recordings and speaker bios. Some of these resources are also posted here on AcceleratingTechnology.com Course description: This interdisciplinary seminar will combine guest lectures, films, discussions and hands-on demonstrations to investigate the intersection of accelerating technological change with consciousness, spirituality and culture. Integrating seemingly disparate disciplines from the humanities, natural sciences and engineering, we will investigate how cutting-edge technologies and scientific theories are redefining the nature of mind.
